Happy Customer
This user-friendly alarm system can continuously monitor various parameters, including the PD level occurring in the HV cable itself, joints, or terminations.
By replacing existing Link Boxes with Intelligent Link Boxes, cable system will be SMART and failures can be predicted with an early alarm system.
Smart Monitoring & Alerts
The i-LinkBox collects real-time data on insulation and sheath performance, detecting Partial Discharge (PD) and transmitting alerts via GSM or fiber network.
Comprehensive Sensor System
Equipped with PD sensors and environmental detectors, it monitors temperature, humidity, and water ingress to prevent failures in HV cable systems.
Easy Diagnostic Access
It enables easy access to PD testing without disassembling the unit, offering fast, accurate fault diagnostics.
Reliable & Cost-Effective Operation
Designed for reliability and simplicity, the i-LinkBox reduces maintenance costs while ensuring continuous, safe power transmission.
i-LinkBox™ Innovation Summary Compared to Conventional Link Box
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) terminology defines a LINK BOX as:
“A box in which bonding or grounding connections or both are made through Removable (disconnectable) links and which may also contain Sheath Voltage Limiters (SVLs).”
Technically better known as “Disconnectable Link Box” for its sound design and construction features are a High Voltage Underground (buried) Power Cable System accessory. It is an integral part; mechanically and electrically connected to “Sheath Bonding Design Circuitry” of High Voltage underground Power Cable System.
Link Box is electrically and mechanically one of the integral accessories of HV underground cable Bonding System, associated with HV XLPE power cable system.
